At it again. More good stuff to think on. Ms Febos: There's a lot to unpack in the quote. It got me thinking. When I was in high school, my mom talked to me about how women in the restroom at the aerospace firm where she worked would talk about men they were interested in and how they might go about getting their attention. My wife once said in conversation, girls know when they pretty. Yet, what about the women who often times are referred to my other men as someone they can talk too, like a sister. Are they the ones who need brains. Of course, the gender assignment of men goes without saying that's were "con"fidence man starts. FYI: The link to Countney Fade Taylor didn't work. I was using Firefox browser
I meant to write, "...when they are pretty".
A follow up to Ms Febos quote. The content of the quote not only applies to capitalist thinking, but to other cultures as well. Maybe South American, African or South Sea Island. Think child bearing/fertility. I'll take look at the magazine articles mentioned. Thanks again for posting.
Ms. Febos has a new book out, which is getting some attention. Also, thank you for letting me know about the broken link. I think it is now fixed on the blogpost, but, if not, her website is www.courtneyfayetaylor.com.
